The company writes, in the recall, “The products are being recalled as a precautionary measure given the health and safety of our consumers is our top priority.”

The voluntary recall mostly regards Aunt Jemima frozen food products. On May 5, both Pinnacle Foods and the US FDA made announcements explaining that the recall was made after investigations found traces of Listeria monocytogenes in the manufacturing plant where the consumer frozen food products are made.
